The Butcher Shop & Grill’s Tantalizing New Lunch and Burger Menu

The Butcher Shop & Grill, renowned for their superior meat dishes, has just launched its all new burger and lunch menu. While they have always offered a burger on their menu, this is the first time that an entire burger menu has been developed — and with choices from camembert and avo, mushroom and blue cheese, to jalapeño and cheese and crispy cajun chicken, they have got an exciting option for everyone.

Famous for their simple, honest and delicious grill style, the Butcher’s Burgers are sure not to disappoint, with each burger patty sourced and handmade by their Master Butcher. The best part? You can order their famous patties directly from the Deli and Butchery too meaning you can enjoy them from the comfort of home.

Alongside their hearty burger menu is an all new lunch menu which boasts a variety of new dishes, carefully developed by their entire team. Think slow braised pulled pork tacos served with guacamole, sour cram and sriracha sauce, tender peri peri spatchcock chicken, to lamb kofta served on traditional pita bread with all the toppings you could want and more— the new menu will have your mouth watering just reading it. And with their prices ranging from R90.00 – R120.00 per dish, there is something for everyone.

Here’s our top 5 favourite dishes that you need to try:

1. Crispy Cajun Chicken Burger

The crispy cajun chicken burger is made with a Louisiana dusted chicken breast, and served with a mustard dressing, freshly sliced tomato and crisp lettuce served on a toasted sesame bun. This is one burger you won’t want to miss out on.

2. Lamb Burger

For only R 95.00 you can tuck into a delicious lamb burger made with a mint infused lamb patty served with rocket, tzatziki and red onion. A delicious twist to everyone’s old favourite beef burger.

3. Lamb Kofta

One of our favourite dishes has to be the lamb kofta. For only R90.00 and served on a homemade pita bread served with tomato, cucumber, red onion, and tzatziki, this is one dish that is sure to please.

4. Pulled Pork Tacos

Need we say more? These slow braised pulled pork tacos are melt-in-your-mouth bites of goodness. Served with guacamole, sour cream, smoked Chipotle chilli and sriracha sauce, for only R120.00 they are a definite must for your next meal.

5. Asian Tuna & Avo Tarter

We also recommend you try the Asian tuna and avocado tarter, made with fresh local tuna served with avocado, Ponzo dressing, sesame oil and crispy shallots. A definite go-to dish for those seafood lovers.
