Here's a selection of our top 4 events in Cape Town and Johannesburg to keep you busy this weekend:

Cape Town

1. South African Cheese Festival

Where: Sandringham, Stellenbosch. Next to the N1, Stellenbosch turn-off (exit 39), between Cape Town and Paarl.
Cost: R160 per person per day, senior citizens R100, children under 13 years get in free, tickets are available at computicket outlets. No tickets will be sold at the gates.

2. The Noordhoek Crush Wine Festival

Noordhoek Farm Village will host its third annual family wine and food event Noordhoek Crush on Saturday. Sip, swirl and buy over 100 wines from 20 wine farms as well as three craft gins from 333 Distillery. Get your hands on a Tasting Passport and you’ll be sorted for drinks for the whole day. The Village Restaurants will also be waiving their corkage fees and there will also be plenty for the kids to do, so relax and enjoy the stunning setting!

When: Saturday, 29 April from 11am - 5pm.

3. Decorex Cape Town

Fashionable fabrics, inspired interiors and wall-to-wall trendsetting décor will adorn the Cape Town International Convention Centre as Decorex Cape Town – co-sponsored by Plascon and Caesarstone – takes over the city. This year’s theme is: ‘Make your space your living dream’ and sees a focus on natural fabrics, energising tones and high-quality products encouraging the reclaiming of the home space as a sanctuary from the ever-busy and bustling lifestyle of the modern-day person. 4. Sharing Sundays at Gabriëlskloof Estate

When the celebrated restaurant at Gabriëlskloof Estate, situated outside Bot River, launched its winter Sharing Sundays last year, it unleashed a sensation. This year in addition to exciting changes, the darling menu format of gastronomes-in-the-know returns, now in a truly French tradition. Sharing Sundays is about shareable cuisine in the nostalgic tone of a traditional family feast. Early bookings are essential as space fills up rapidly.

1. Karou Charou’s Comedy Showcase
