Ngwenya Country Market is a Must

Ngwenya Country Market has been running at Ngwenya Glass Village every first Sunday of the month and so far it has been a phenomenal success. Since August 2016 this festive market has drawn in visitors from far and wide who all enjoy spending their day in the Muldersdrift countryside. 

Visitors can enjoying free entry to browse and enjoy the unique  produce and creations of top class vendors. Visitors are also invited to pick up a picnic basket and fill it with goodies of their choice, to enjoy a relaxing picnic on the grounds. Or if you have a sweet tooth stop by the Whip and Whiskstand for delicious cakes and mouthwatering doughnuts or A Taste of Wales, which makes gourmet fudge. For those who want to try be a little bit more healthy can stop off at the markets newcomer, Butter Me Up, who provide a selection of banting food.  
 
Heard of hydroponics? Graham Large, farm manager from Muldersdrift puts together hydroponic kits. Amazing that one can grow veggies and herbs indoors successfully, without soil. 

With music, activities for the kids, delicious food and drinks, in a relaxed countryside setting this is one market you don’t want to miss.
