A Taste of KWV House of Fire — Tour and Tasting
If you are a lover of brandy and are interested in how it is produced, you won’t want to miss this unforgettable sensory experience at KWV House of Fire. Visitors will be taken on a tour inside of the distillery, home to 32 pot stills and two sets of coloumn stills, by a specialised guide. Then experiencean unforgettable sensory experience with a Brandy and Chocolate tasting.
Wether you are a beginner or a more experienced brandy lover, you will be sure to find this a truly memorable experience of sound, smell and taste — all in a beautifully designed space which will have you charmed before you have even tasted the brandy.

A Taste of Excellence — Artesian Pie and Wine Pairing
The award-winning KWVMentors Wines and Artisan Pie tasting is undoubtedly a highlight at KWV Wine Emporium. As one of South Africa’s most awarded wine ranges, the KWV Mentors are skilfully paired with a artisanal tasting experience that perfectly compliments each of the Mentors. By using unique, local flavours in the pies the wine is complimented in new ways creating a story and a memorable moment that is full of flavour.

A Taste of Tea — Leaf Tea & Chocolate Tasting
A tasting created specially for those designated drivers and those who do not drink alcohol, is KWV Wine Emporiums Taste of Tea tasting. Dilmah Leaf Teas are paired with various chocolates to create an aromatic, and rewarding tasting experience.

A Taste of the Best — KWV Mentors and Perold Tasting
Taste the diversity of terroir and climate that influence South African Wines. Choose five wines from KWV The Mentors and Perold ranges, which truly reflect the best that South Africa has to offer.

A Taste of South Africa — Biltong, Nut & Wine Tasting
Think of the outdoors, a braai, the sun and all of your close friends together. The KWV Classic range reflects this relaxed lifestyle of South Africa, and to bring that together in one tasting experience KWV has paired five of their KWV Classic wines with biltong and nuts. This is a truly authentic South African tasting.

A Taste of Sweetness — Sweet Wine, Liqueur & Cake Tasting
Due to popular demand, KWV have brought back their Fortified Wine & Cake tasting, except this time, with a twist but with a twist. This pairing includes various mini-cakes to accompany two of the KWV Fortified wines, namely their award-winning KWV Cape Tawny and the KWV Red Muscadel, along side two of their amazing liqueurs, the KWV Van der Hum Liqueur and the Wild Africa Cream Liqueur.

A Taste of Botanicals — Gin Tasting.
Experience the flavours of different styles of Gin paired with delicious bites. KWV now offers their new Cruxland Gin, infused with Kalahari truffles as well as other botanicals.

A Taste of Fizz — KWV MCC & Cheesecake Tasting.
Taste a delicious pairing of KWV’s Laborie Methode Cap Classique range with beautifully presented “bite size” Cheesecakes. The Laborie Brut is paired with a a lemon cheesecakewhich compliments the crispy flavours of lime, while the Laborie Rosé is paired with a strawberry cheesecake to bring out the subtle berry flavours in the MCC beautifully. Here the complexity of the MCC and cheesecake flavours are in perfect Harmony, always leaving you wanting more!

If you aren’t interested in any of the above pairings offered at KWV, not to worry, as they offer a tasting of your own selection of wines, fortified wines or brandy — out of a portfolio of 100. Their skilled wine tasting personnel will guide you through the tasting, so whether you're a wine beginner or a bit more experienced, you'll find it educational, memorable and thoroughly enjoyable!
