Johannesburg’s best kept five-star secret, Fairlawns Boutique Hotel and Spa, has recently added yet another luxurious and exclusive offering to its already impressive stable: a boutique champagne bar.
MUSE champagne bar, a collaborative offering between Sandton’s urban oasis, Fairlawns, and Perrier-Jouët French champagne, was designed by InHouse Architect Design. With striking colours of emerald green and rose gold, emphasised by the vintage look and feel of Perrier-Jouët’s Belle Epoque design elements, the bar is as elegant as it is contemporary.
With a cocktail menu that includes a delectable variety of designer beverages such as a Champagne Ice Ball, a Banana Colada and an Irish Old Fashioned, MUSE also has an impressive Casse-Croûte Menu (snacks or light meals) on offer, which has been expertly designed by Fairlawns’ new resident Executive Head Chef, Tyron Lumley. This menu includes exotic gastronomy, as well as classic favourites with a modern twist, such as Bali Baked Duck Rendang, warm Raclette and a selection of Vol-au-vents.
