Cape Town: The Taste of Tyger Valley Wine Festival
On Friday 30 June and Saturday 1 July, Tygervalley Centre will be hosting the first Taste of Tyger Valley Wine Festival — the perfect solution to those winter blues. With 20 wineries offering their wares, ranging from pot-stilled brandy, fortifieds like Jerepigo, Port and Muscadel, right through to some serious Reds and full-bodied Whites, there is something for every palate.

Participating wineries include: Blaauwklippen wines, Benguela Cove,Bonnievale wines, Diemersfontein, Eagles Cliff Wines, Edgebaston, Groenland, Hermanuspietersfontein, Imbuku wines, Kingna Distillery, Montpellier de Tulbagh, Montagu Wine and Spirits, Mooiplaas, Ormonde Vineyards, Perdeberg, Peter Bayley Wines, Spookfontein, Triple Three Estate Distillery, Yonder Hill and Zorgvliet.
2. Cabernet Franc Tasting Stand

With each ticket purchased for the Taste of Tyger Valley Wine Festival a portion is donated toward a bursary for a local youngster to take their first steps toward a career as a professional Sommelier, supported by the South African Sommeliers Association.

Johannesburg: Piccolo Mondo’s Gourmet Evening Presents Vergenoegd Wine
Every month, Piccolo Mondo at The Michelangelo Hotel take their guests on a gourmet journey, complete with delicious food, fine wines and great company. On June 30 you can also look forward to tasting Vergenoegd wines.
