1. Third Best Exotic Marigold Weekend

Bringing Bombay to Cape Town, the Third Best Exotic Marigold Weekend is a series of exotic, quixotic weekends capturing the colours, cultures and cuisines of India. The itinerary features Indian food and fare, exotic drinks and wine, yoga and meditation, walks, Bollywood “shake-a-legs” and traditional fashion. 2. House of Winter Wines

Brought to you by House of Wine, House of Winter Wines is a celebration of winter and fine wine. Taking place at Herbert Baker's historic 6 Spin Street in town, House of Winter Wines will be an afternoon of wine tasting, electro jazz, beautiful hearty food and warming up with fellow wine enthusiasts. Tickets include a booklet of tasting coupons to use as you will, cheeses and breads from the harvest table and live electro-jazz. 3. Saturn Return at Salon 91

At the time of her first solo show, Middle of Nowhere, she had graduated from her Honours degree and left Stellenbosch to move to Cape Town. With her first solo show behind her, You Are Here marked a period of making a home in Cape Town and becoming more established in her career. Like every four years in our calendar, Leap Year was a deviation from the norm existing as an online exhibition at a time she felt an urge to experiment with exhibition formats. 4. Winter Symphony Season: Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort

Belgium pianist Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort performs in Cape Town during the Winter Symphony Season. Conducted by Bernhard Gueller, the all-American programme includes Gershwin An American in Paris, Gershwin Piano Concerto in F, Barber Adagio for Strings and Bernstein Symphonic Dances West Side Story.

What's On In Johannesburg

1. Basha Uhuru Youth Festival 2017

In celebration of Youth Day, Constitution Hill will have a number of fun events lined up to commemorate this special day with the Basha Uhuru Youth Festival. Back for its fifth edition, the festival will feature art exhibitions, film screenings, creative dialogues, a heritage cycling tour and a music festival, all spaced out over five days — all absolutely free!
