Join chef Reuben Riffel and some of his favourite food counterparts at Reuben’s One&Only this winter, for Reuben Invites 2015.
Following on from last year’s series that saw ‘scores of enthusiastic diners meet some of their favourite food personalities and kitchen talents, Reuben will once again host an impressive lineup of local stars, each as passionate about all things culinary as he is’.
The idea behind the evenings is to get up close and personal with Reuben and his guests as they share their ‘culinary secrets and behind-the-scenes anecdotes’, while preparing a gourmet four-course menu.
“Many people are under the impression that chefs are so competitive that we never compare notes with each other but nothing could be further from the truth,” says Reuben Riffel. “Because of our crazy hours, chefs often end up socialising with each other. We love sharing new producers and ingredient finds, we all have war stories to tell, and invariably we’ll give each other advice on one or other element of life in our kitchens. I’m really looking forward to another year of sharing our stories, our food and plenty of wine with our guests”.
The “Reuben Invites” evenings are priced at R395 per person (excluding the suggested beer and wine pairings as well as other beverages).
